Should be a new Sixes and Sevens in the next 48 hours, for those of you that care, so sit tight. There should be a new deviation on *Steamstalk soonish as well, obviously I have to work out the kinks in the writing and then the page has to be drawn up, and so on and so forth.

I'm enjoying this challenge, actually, of diverting my attention from one major work to another - especially when the forms are completely different. Sixes and Sevens allows me to be a bit more flamboyant with my writing, because I have the space to do whatever I want, be it descriptive sequences or full conversations. The work for *Steamstalk is much tighter, though - because I do have limited space, I have to make every word count, and that presents a unique challenge to someone who, lets face it, is used to waffling on a bit.

So really, this is a great writing exercise for me, and I can see my writing improving as a result, which can only be a good thing. I'll keep you posted on things I learn as this progresses.
